The Research Universities for Michigan commissioned an Anderson Economic Group study of the RU4M’s contributions to the automotive sector. The 2012 report found that RU4M universities educate more than 3,600 graduates annually who are ready for technical careers in the auto industry and performed research in auto-related areas that totaled more than $300 million over five years.
